Grassland Suite

The Grassland Suite exudes an airy, pastoral charm with soft sage green walls, arched alcoves, and a dreamy four-poster canopy bed at its heart. Earthy textures, handcrafted furniture, and subtle nature motifs evoke the quiet beauty of open meadows. Sunlight streams through the windows, filling the space with a warm, natural glow that enhances its restful and romantic atmosphere.

This ground-floor suite features a balcony overlooking the pool, offering a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings.

This room holds a special place in Pousada’s history. It became a home away from home for Lady Helen Hamlyn and Lord Paul Hamlyn of Hamlyn Publications. They first stayed in 2001, arriving by private jet and booking out the entire hotel. The suite was later modified to Lady Helen’s personal preferences, and it remains one of our most beloved and storied rooms.
